Life is BETTER TOGETHER!

The CCA Family Retreat & Educational Symposium (“Retreat”) is held each June to provide craniofacial patients, their siblings, and parents an opportunity to interact with others who have endured similar experiences. The unique weekend Retreat allows you to enjoy a safe and welcoming environment, meet new people, reconnect with friends, share ideas, problems and solutions, and nurture lasting bonds.

CCA Family: The Retreat registration is now officially on a waitlist.
The demand for the 2026 Annual Family Retreat & Educational Symposium exceeded our expectations and we are working to accommodate as many families as possible, based on budget and capacity limitations.
You may have some questions about what it means to go on the waitlist and we hope we can help answer those so you can plan accordingly.
What does going on the waitlist do for me?
  • If spots open up because registered families cancel or decline their scholarships, you will be offered the chance to register.
What is the waitlist timeline?
  • We expect to give most waitlisted families an answer by Feb. 28, 2026 if they will be moved off the waitlist and given a chance to register.
When is the last chance I'll be notified about a waitlist?
  • We will accept waitlist registrations through March 30, 2026. You will be notified of a final answer if you have secured a registration spot by April 30, 2026.
What if registered families cancel after April 30, 2026 and more spots open up then?
  • We will address that on a case-by-case basis. Most of the time, last minute cancellations are done during the week immediately before Retreat and do not allow time for families to properly book travel to attend.
  • We also have to have time to properly prepare for each family coming, including ordering t-shirts, meal headcounts, prepping session materials, and ensuring all members have taken Safe Spaces training.

GUIDELINES
We ask that you read the full GUIDELINES for attending Retreat before registering. This document also contains information about requesting a travel scholarship.

HOW TO REGISTER
  • Please select 1 Ticket that represents your household size.
  • So, for a "Household Family of 3" put ONE (1) ticket in your cart. You will be prompted to fill out 3 attendees' info in the next step.
  • Example, "Household Family of 6," put ONE (1) ticket in your cart. You will be prompted to fill out 6 attendees' info in the next step.
  • To add non-immediate family members, add the number of "Additional Attendee" tickets to your cart.
  • "Additional Attendee" are people that do not live in your household.

SCHOLARSHIPS
If you wish to apply for a travel scholarship, please click Yes on the first question on the application. All families, traveling with a person with a facial difference, are eligible to apply. Read the full scholarship guidelines on Page 6 of this document.

You may use the promo code SCHOLARSHIP at checkout to received a waived Registration fee. Please only use this code if you are applying for a scholarship.

Deadline to apply for a scholarship is Jan. 5, 2026 at 11:59pm ET.

DIRECTORY
Each year, we publish a directory of attendees for Retreat-goers. Please register with the name(s) you wish to be used in this directory. This directory is for personal use only, for those who attend Retreat. We list your last name/family name, first names, city/state, and ages of people with facial differences 40 and under and their siblings aged 40 and under.

ITINERARY
The format of the Retreat will be as follows, with more details to come:
Thursday Night: Informal Gathering on the "Hotel Beach" as a meet and greet.
Friday: Registration, Welcome & Keynote Address, Boxed Lunches, Educational Sessions & Panels, Family Night Dinner with Raffle & Entertainment
Saturday: Breakfast, Group Meetups, Group Photo, Talent Show, Scott's Dinner & Wipeout Dance (culminating event)
Sunday: Farewell Breakfast & Closing Ceremony
